Tekst książki został przygotowany w trzech językach: polskim, niemieckim i angielskim.

The Site of Remembrance in Łambinowice comprises, beside remnants of the former camp infrastructure, also three military cemeteries. Each of the camps functioning in this area between 1870 and 1946 has left its peculiar traces in the form of monuments, towering over the soldiers’ graves, which are worth stopping at for a moment of reflection and meditation. They provide a unique testimony to dramas of individual persons and whole communities, whose fate intertwined with the history of the Łambinowice camps. There are monuments found here which are dedicated to concrete groups of POWs, namely French of the years 1870-1871, Serbian, Russian, British and Italian of the years 194-1918, as well as Polish of the days of World War II (the monument of the Warsaw Insurgents – POWs in Stalag 344 Lamsdorf). Beside them, there are also monuments commemorating all those who died in this place in the years of the two global wars and the victims of the post-war Labor Camp. The guide presents the history and location of individual objects in a clear and intelligible way. Additionally, it includes detailed descriptions of the monuments, specifying architectural details together with the inscriptions written on them, which have been preserved, rendered in native languages of particular national groups, and their translations into the Polish language. The publication is complemented with rich illustrative material. The text of the guide is given parallel in three languages.
