Interesujące uzupełnienie tomu stanowią wspomnienia poświęcone Dulagowi 142 Skierniewice w przekazie Krystyny Mystkowskiej oraz wojennym losom Zbigniewa Wolnego, jeńca oflagów XI A Osterode i II B Arnswalde, w opracowaniu syna – Konstantego Wolnego.

The papers included in Volume 35 of The Annual are devoted to the broadly-understood subject matter of POWs and culture of memory. The considerations of the contributing authors are focused on questions relating to the forced labor of the POWs in the XXth Military District, the functioning of the POW camps complex in Spittal an der Drau, as well as the fate of Jews – soldiers of the Red Army in German captivity. The volume includes also a paper on the results of archeological research and exhumation works conducted in the years 2001-2012 in the area of the Polish Military Cemetery in Bykivnia which was opened in 2012. The topic of culture of remembrance is expanded by reflections over the contemporary definition of national remembrance with reference to the history of the Lamsdorf/Łambinowicach camps. An interesting complement to this volume comes in the form of memoirs connected with Dulag 142 Skierniewice as presented by Krystyna Mystkowska and the wartime fate of Zbigniew Wolny, a POW in oflags XI A Osterode and II B Arnswalde, elaborated on by Kanstanty Wolny.
